    I Dr. Santosh Thakare feels great privilege to work as a Principal in Shri Sant Gadge Maharaj Mahavidyalaya, Murtizapur, Dist. Akola since 2018. The student culture here is vibrant and history is rich. The college is serving as a source of education to the society from 1963. We have successfully completed first cycle of assessment and accreditation by NAAC. and received a sustainable grade “B”. The planning of college is very effective. Each and every staff is very dedicated towards it work and the working culture is very fair. The college is multi-faculty hence it support various UG, PG, Ph. D. and Vocational Courses. The teaching staff continuously upgrade themselves to cope-up with the change in education system. This also helps in enhancing the level of education. Shri Gadge Maharaj College, Murtizapur is truly a microcosm of global community. We take part in multiple outreach programmes, national exchange programmes and initiatives. Even in this challenging time the college has given a fairly good result. We have special NSS unit and best infrastructural facilities in camps. The college has adopted a local village area and work for the upliftment and betterment of that village society.

We have a world class infrastructure, having ICT enable Classrooms and well-equipped laboratories. Our library is fully-furnished with latest books and e-learning resources having a soul 3.0 software and NLIST, this helps students to access the books online from anywhere in the world.

The college functions in direction of becoming more student centric and consistently work for the welfare and up-gradation of students. We have well IT facilities. Campus is under CCTV surveillance and have a wi-fi connection all around.
